Psychologist, Social Worker

 

Studied Social Work at the Fachhochschule Freiburg. 

Studied psychology at the University of Bonn, specializing in work and organizational psychology as well as clinical psychology. Earned doctorate at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich for her field study on gender-related leadership in management.

During and following her second degree, she was employed from 1988 to 1994 by the Consultancy Agency Dr. Wolfgang Jeserich, Bergisch Gladbach, focusing on the conception of diagnostic instruments for the suitability of personnel and the potential analysis, their implementation with senior staff in the context of assessment centers and evaluation of personnel development measures. 

Later she extended her area of work to offer training as well as coaching in the area of management development. At the same time, she worked as a research assistant and project manager at the University of Cologne. 

In 1994 she started to work as a freelance consultant and coach in collaboration with different consultancy agencies and partners. 

Concurrently, she worked as a psychological psychotherapist in her own practice in Bonn as well as in the field of emergency psychology  within the scope of acute intervention.  

Since 2005 lecturer, supervisor and teacher at a state-approved institute for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, leading member of staff since 2007.

Joined Arentz & Partner in 1994 as a Consultant.

  • Degree in psycho-analysis and psycho-dynamic psychotherapy and license to practise psychological psycho-therapy, registered doctor
  • Psycho-dynamic organizational development and coaching, Institute for Psycho-dynamic Organizational Development and Staff Management, Düsseldorf
  • Client-centered conversational psychotherapy and negotiation at the Academy for Client-Centered Psychotherapy and Consultancy, Bonn
  • Professional training as Psycho-Traumatologist, in particular in the EMDR method (Eye-Movement-Desensitization and Reprocessing) with Francine Shapiro PhD, Pacific Grove, USA and at the EMDR Institute, Germany
